Meet the Orlando Team Behind Tilehurst Roofing Orlando

Most roofing companies send a crew you never meet and a truck you don’t recognize. We do it differently. The people who show up at your door in Orlando are the same people whose names you’ll see below, background-checked, uniformed, and accountable to one standard. Greg Holloway has spent years building a team that works the way he does: show up when we said, say the price before the work, and treat your home like a neighbor’s. Every person on this page has stood on an Orlando roof in August and earned their place here.

Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Technician

Marcus has been on roofs since his uncle handed him a nail gun at seventeen, and he’s been with Tilehurst Roofing Orlando for over a decade. He holds manufacturer certifications with GAF and CertainTeed, which means he installs shingle systems to the exact specs those companies require for their best warranties. Marcus is the guy who catches the small stuff before it becomes a leak: a rusted drip edge here, a valley flashing that’s pulling loose there. Off the roof, he rebuilds old motorcycles in his garage and swears the patience that takes is the same skill that makes him good at ridge cap work.

Luis R. – Senior Installer

Luis came up in Florida residential construction and has installed every major shingle system we offer, from Owens Corning to Tamko to heavier Boral profiles. He’s our go-to for steep-pitch roofs and complicated flashing details around chimneys and skylights. Luis is the one who double-checks the underlayment seams before the shingles go down, because he’s seen what Orlando’s afternoon thunderstorms do to a roof when the water barrier underneath isn’t right. When he’s not on a job site, he’s usually grilling something or coaching his daughter’s soccer team in the Conway area.

Dana S. – Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call (850) 303-7235, and she’s been answering that phone at all hours for seven years. She schedules every estimate and repair visit, tracks the written guarantees we issue, and keeps the crew moving when storm season piles up the call list. Dana knows the difference between a true emergency, a deteriorating flashing issue, and a routine maintenance question, and she’ll tell you honestly which one you have. She grew up in Florida and refuses to be impressed by any storm under a Category 3.

Corey B. – Apprentice

Corey joined us two years ago after working residential siding and gutter installs, and he’s been drilling on shingle cuts and flashing bends ever since. Marcus and Luis both train him on the detail work: how to strip old ridge caps without damaging the decking underneath, how to seat a pipe boot so it won’t peel in a wind-driven rain. Corey is the one who walks the yard with the magnetic nail sweeper three times after every job, because nothing punctures a new roof faster than a stray roofing nail. He’s usually the first one on the truck in the morning and the one asking the most questions by noon.

One Standard, Every Job

The Kingswell family of roofing companies has done this since 2000, and the standard in Orlando is the same as every location that carries the name. It’s not a franchise handbook thing. It’s just the way The Kingswell Way runs: say the price before the work, show up in the window we gave, put the guarantee in writing before the crew leaves, and come back at no charge if a repair fails inside the guarantee period. That’s the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it applies whether Marcus is chasing a wind-blown shingle or Luis is tearing off a full roof in Thornton Park. A written price with no surprises. A written guarantee on every repair, handed to you before the truck pulls away. A live person answering the phone at 2 a.m. when a branch goes through a roof in College Park. This team does that every day, not because it’s a talking point, but because it’s how Greg was taught to run a roofing company and how he’s taught every person on this page.

Why Orlando Weather Shapes How This Team Works

Any roofer in this city who says the climate doesn’t change the work is lying. Orlando gets everything: afternoon heat that bakes shingles until they’re too hot to touch, hurricane season winds that tear loose flashing, and rain squalls that find every weak seam. The crew here understands that a roof in Dr. Phillips weathers differently than one in Delaney Park, and we install accordingly. That means proper attic ventilation to keep the decking from cooking under a July sun, and wind-rated fastening patterns that hold when the gusts punch through. The materials matter too. We work with seven manufacturers, GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, Atlas, Tamko, and Boral, so the product fits what your home actually needs, not whatever happens to be on the truck. A tile-style Boral roof makes sense for some homes; an architectural asphalt shingle from Atlas makes sense for others. The crew knows the difference and will tell you straight.

Come Meet Us on Your Roof

These are the people who’ll show up, and we think that matters. You’ll know their names, you’ll see the uniform, and you’ll get a written price before anything gets nailed down. Every one of them works under the same guarantee Greg signs off on: if it’s not done right, we make it right for a full year. So if your roof needs eyes on it, call Dana at (850) 303-7235 and get on the schedule. The estimate is free, and you’ll get to meet the crew before you ever write a check.
